A disciple saw that when Jesus prayed, good things—powerful things—happened. He asked Jesus to teach him to pray. The disciple wasn’t exactly asking for a script, he wanted to know how to unlock the power of prayer. Do you struggle in prayer? Do you find that many of your prayers are unanswered? Would you like that to change—not that you’d give up praying, or stop praying big, but that you would see your big prayers actually answered? Jesus gave the disciples a blueprint for prayer that provides for an abundant life, that is, a life filled with meaning, purpose, provision, forgiveness, protection, grace, and more. If you want answered prayer and an abundant life, unlock the script.
