Texting Hallelujah!

“The name of the Lord, is a strong tower, thither the righteous flee and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10

It’s Independence Day in the USA, we celebrate our nation’s founding 240 years ago. When our nation was born, the people gained political freedom; but our founding fathers recognized the human condition wasn’t changed by politics as much as by spiritual transformation. Samuel Adams was a Governor of Massachusetts, a Signer of the Declaration of Independence, declared, “I…rely upon the merits of Jesus Christ for a pardon of all my sins…’The name of the Lord,’ (says the Scripture) ‘is a strong tower, thither the righteous flee and are safe’ (Proverbs 18:10). Let us secure His favor and He will lead us through the journey of this life and at length receive us to a better.” His words are as true today as back then: true safety, true freedom comes through Jesus Christ. May America remember! May you remember!
