“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

When was the last time you used the word, “steadfast”? It used to be common. It means to be loyal, unwavering, committed, persistent, resolute. Little wonder that we rarely hear of or use such a word—we’ve become a transient, throw-away society and have lost the concept of being steadfast. But God still possesses this “old fashioned” virtue! He expresses it to you every morning—notice you are breathing, you can see, you can hear, you can think, you can speak, you can dream! God’s love for you NEVER ceases. Today, accept the steadfast love of God for you and patiently share it with the people around you. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

. . . “accept the steadfast love of God for you and share it with the people around you.”
